Adding an Icon in Screens in Sage Enterprise Management

Following is the method to add icons in SAGE X3 screen:

Go to the Icon in Searches given under Development à Utilities

Development > Utilities > Searches > Icon

An icon field contains a string with a maximum length of 3 characters consists of a numeric value. Select the icon which we want to use in screen, for example we are adding icon “147” in product screen (ITM2) as shows following screen shots.

In product (ITM2) screen, we have to assign icon number with default value in between double quotation and should select Icon option in graphic object field also.

As shown above “Click” is the field action for Icon type of field. When clicking on the Icon then we have to add to the action (YTEST) and write the code in according to requirements.

Icon has been added in product management tab screen (ITM2) after we have added in the screen as shown.
